Obituary

Beverly Ann Kedrowski, age 83, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Hilltop Grand Village in Wisconsin Rapids.

Beverly was born September 12, 1937 in the Town of Saratoga, Wood County, WI to William and Dora (Westover) McCarthy.  She graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1956 and furthered her education at the Wood County Teacher’s College. After college, she taught at a one room school house in rural Wood County.

She married Gerald Kedrowski on July 15, 1961 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.  He passed away in 2008.

Beverly was an avid Green Bay Packer, Milwaukee Brewer, and Wisconsin Badger fan.  She enjoyed watching girls’ softball and basketball and was an advocate for women in sports.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing.  She was an avid reader and liked to share just about everything she read with others.

Beverly is survived by two sons: Barney (Debi) Kedrowski of Wisconsin Rapids and Victor (Valerie) Kedrowski of Stevens Point; grandchildren: Cecelia, Felicia, and Henry Kedrowski; and sister, Thea (Tom) Provost of Wisconsin Rapids.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald; five sisters: Neoma Bruner, Donna McCarthy, Marlene “Chuckie” McCarthy, Phyllis McCarthy, and Nancy Smith; and four brothers: Dennis McCarthy, Ronald McCarthy, William McCarthy, and Timothy McCarthy.

Beverly made many sacrifices throughout her life for everyone and wouldn’t want anyone to suffer on her account.  Due to ongoing Covid-19 concerns, private family services were held at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with interment at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, is honored to be assisting the family.
