Dylan S. Reitz, age 26, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm at home on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Margo Peterson will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
Dylan was born on July 10, 1996 to Scott and Kelly (Gaugert) Reitz in Wisconsin Rapids. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 2014 and furthered his educating by attending Mid- Technical College and completed the Industrial Mechanical Technician Program in 2017. He started helping out his dad in the family business at a young age, and continued working and gaining knowledge through out the years. He was a very hard worker and would help others with side projects after work. He is known for his ability to fix almost anything and even rebuilt the transmission in his car.
He enjoyed listening to classic rock music and a good prime rib dinner. Dylan and his brother Devin always spent time together camping, fishing, and in the winter, they would go up north snowmobiling.
Dylan is survived by his parents Scott (Kelly) Reitz; grandparents: Bill (Diane) Reitzy, Wayne (Gina) Johnson; aunts and uncles: Tina (Jeff Fischer) Reitz, Tammy (Ryan) Kingery, Kevin (Tina) Gaugert, Kim (Eric) Wegleitner, Jessica (Sam) Chairez, and Mike Gaugert. He is further survived by many cousins and cats: Scooter, Spike, and Simba.
Dylan is preceded by his brother Devin Reitz; great-grandparents: Ray (Francis) Olson and Harley (LuDene) Lehmann.
