Harold “Howie” Fredenberg, age 73, passed away on Sunday June 20, 2021 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital.
Harold was born on December 28, 1947 in Keshena, Wisconsin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Army, and was a truck driver for over 20 years. Harold was a proud member of the Menominee Nation.
Harold enjoyed fishing, playing poker, camping at Ponderosa Pines campground, traveling the countryside, and spending time with his family. He was also an obnoxious Vikings fan despite his family’s love for the Green Bay Packers.
Harold is survived by his wife Florence “Flo” (Streeter); his daughter: Deanna (Ron) Voorhees of Green Bay, WI; Siblings: Burton (Leslie) Fredenberg of Havelock, NC; Lloyd (Molly) Fredenberg of Bowler, WI; Rosemary (Bill) Mitchell of Green Bay, WI; Stepchildren: Dean Meddaugh of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Donna Schiller of Neenah, WI; Blair (Angel) Meddaugh of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Step Grandchildren; Jennifer (Mike) Duchrow of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Phillip Schiller of Moncks Corner, SC; Garret Schiller of Fargo, ND; John (Ashley) Butler of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Rachel Meddaugh of West Bend, WI and Jennifer Bauer of Germany; eight step great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his biological parents: Andrew Fredenberg and Loretta Wilbur; foster parents: Harry and Blanche Jeanquart, and one brother: Ralph Fredenberg.
