Jeanette Ann Gaulke, age 88, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Kevin Ader will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services on Monday at the church.
Jeanette was born November 5, 1932 in Tomah, Wisconsin to Irvin and Edna (Tank) Damerow. She married Gerald Gaulke on September 4, 1954. They were blessed with 62 years of marriage and five children.
She worked as a registered nurse at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids for 15 years.
She had a special love of children; raising many foster children over the years in addition to her own children.
Jeanette was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church an its Ladies Aid. She loved playing cards, especially bridge. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and canning. She spent many summers camping with her family at Casey Lake near Waupaca and a few special years wintering in Brownsville, Texas and Arizona.
Jeanette is survived by five children: Nancy Crump (Al Rady) of Adams, Scott (Barb) Gaulke of Plover, Lisa Colemer of Madison, Danny Gaulke (Dee Webster) of Nekoosa, and Mike (Clare) Gaulke of Oshkosh; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sandy Leervig of Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald; and two sisters: Charmayne Reardon and Evelyn Rogge.
