John Vang, age 66, of Port Edwards, WI passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 7, 2021 at his residence.
Services will be held from 8am-10pm on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Richmond Hall in Appleton, WI. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, July 18 at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton.
John was born June 1, 1955 in Xiangkhouang, Laos to Chong Yang and Ia (Her) Vang. He was a proud member of the Lao Veterans of America, Wisconsin chapter.
John worked as a sanitation technician at Brakebush Brothers in Westfield, WI. He enjoyed the outdoors and working on his garden. He also loved to travel back to his home country.
John is survived by nine children: Lee (Mao) Vang, Ka (Pao) Lee, Pang Vang (Amarit), Jodi Vang, Debbie Vang, Tou Vang, Song Vang, Pao Fue (Amanda) Vang, and Connie Vang; 16 grandchildren; four brothers Nhia Lor, Xai Kao, Wa Lee, Her; and two sisters: Ploua and Yer.
