Karen Feenstra, age 79, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at her home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI with her loving family by her side.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Fr. William Menzel will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
Karen was born October 29, 1942 to Roy and Caroline (Dillinger) Meyer. She was united in marriage to her loving husband, Theodore (Ted) Feenstra on October 5, 1963 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Sigel, Wisconsin. Karen enjoyed going to casinos, playing Pac-Man and Caribbean Cruises with Ted.
During her work career, she was a laboratory tech for Basic American Foods and also Preway until it closed. One of her best memories was taking her children and grandchildren on an all-expense paid vacation to Disney World.
Karen is survived by her husband Ted, her two children, Scott Feenstra and Stacy (Al) Zerby; five grandchildren, Tristan (Jeremy) Rehberg, Rebecca Feenstra, Laura (Austin) Daniels, Anna Feenstra and Paige Zerby; three great grandchildren, Payton, McKenzie and Kendall Rehberg, Sister-in-Laws Judy and Mary Ann Meyer and many nieces & nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Caroline, brothers Eugene and Doug Meyer, sister Beverly Huser, brother-in-laws Marvin Huser, John Wiessenbeck and Jim Lang, and sister-in-laws Thelma Wiessenbeck and Betty Lang.
