Luis Cipriano, age 77, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. John Swing will officiate. Visitation for relatives and friends will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of Mass on Wednesday at the church.
Luis was born December 31, 1943 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Enrique and Teresa (Cantú) Cipriano. He married Maria Sandra Delgadillo on December 11, 1971 at Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de San Juan in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on December 7, 1996, and would have celebrated their 50th this year.
Luis worked as a general manager for Reyes Industries in Laredo, Texas and later for the City of Laredo, Texas until his retirement.
Luis was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, golfing and hunting. He was a skilled woodworker and handyman who could fix anything.
Luis is survived by his loving wife, Maria Sandra; children: Maria Teresa Rangel, Nancy Cipriano, and Javier (Emily) Cipriano, all of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; grandchildren: Ashley Marquez, David Rangel, Cassandra Rangel, Sergio Ochoa III, Luis Ochoa, Abraham Torres, Natalee Ochoa, Julian Rangel, Leonardo Rangel, Rihanna Mendoza, Jazlyn Cipriano, Xavier Cipriano, Liam Cipriano, Katalina Cipriano, Landyn Noe, and Brynnlee Noe; and his brother, Enrique Cipriano. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Victoria Cipriano.
