Marilyn “Sue” Marie Engelbright, age 74 of Wisconsin Rapids passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at her residence.
Sue was born October 19, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois; daughter of Arthur G. and Helen (Ferrera) Spohn. She married Harold Engelbright on October 18, 1985, in Wisconsin Rapids. She was a cook at Kellner International for many years before her retirement. Sue’s greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
She was unique, interesting, and spoke her mind. She was very creative, artistic, and loved working with all craft and art genre in her younger days.
Sue had a love for animals, especially her dog Niki, who she referred to as her “Precious baby.” She had a big heart and a very present smile and will be missed by all who knew her.
Sue is survived by her husband Harold of 36 years. She is lovingly survived by: her daughter: Shanon (Rick) Roseno, Rudolph, WI; grandchildren: Mariah and Mason (fiancée, Emily Ballweg) Roseno; daughter: Cheri (Curt) Fischer, Nekoosa, WI; Grandchildren: Dallas and Cordell Mittelstadt; stepson: Harold (Gretchen) Engelbright, Wausau, WI; step grandchildren: Rachel, Emmett, and Henry Engelbright; stepdaughter: Chris (Chad) Carey, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; step-grandson: Lenny Dampier; stepson: David Engelbright, Nekoosa, WI; step-grandson: Josh Fleck.
Sue is further survived by her brothers: Arthur (Vivian) Spohn, Wisconsin Rapids; Robert Spohn, Wisconsin Rapids; sister: Linda Brunzell, and many nieces and nephews.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents; first husband Wayne Miller; second husband Robert VanErt; brother Edward Spohn; brothers-in-law Bill Brunzell and Donald Engelbright and niece Debra Spohn.
At Sue’s request, there will be no services held. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
