Thomas (Tom) Lewis Stueck, 67, died peacefully on December 23, 2021, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin after a five-month battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
Tom was born on May 7, 1954, to Lewis and Lois (Pivinski) Stueck. He grew up in Biron, Wisconsin. After graduating from Lincoln High School, he attended MidState Technical College, earning his degree in accounting. After attending MidState, Tom attended Lakeland College as business major.
He started his career with Consolidated Papers and stayed with the company through many name changes until his retirement. He married Sharon Cuty on April 22, 1978. They celebrated 43 years of marriage. Tom’s smile was unforgettable. He always had joy, happiness, and a story to share with everyone. He had an outgoing personality, a great sense of humor, kindness and was always there when you needed him. Tom enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his wife, Sharon, one daughter, April (Ryan) Krall; one son, Bryan (Amy) Stueck; five grandchildren Brooklyn, Jackson, and Mason Krall; Makenna and Camden Stueck. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Stueck. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Lois Stueck.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at First English Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Pastor Cheryl Davis will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until the time of service at the church on Saturday. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
After the service, family and friends can gather at the church to celebrate Tom’s life by enjoying some of his favorite desserts.
Due to COVID concerns, the family requires mandatory masking while attending the memorial service. Burial will be at a later date.
