Thomas H. Weber
Born July 4th, 1950
Passed July 4th, 2021
Tom was the eldest son of Carl and Evelyn (Mueller) Weber. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher. Tom is survived by his daughter Karla (mom Susan), sisters Carol Burrows, Mary aka Cathy Slattery, and Therese (Phil) Grode, numerous nieces, nephews, and their children.
Tom could not resist an urge to rescue “tired iron;” acquiring and skillfully maintaining a fleet of old trucks. If you had a job, he supplied the truck and sage advice. Gifted with great intelligence and ability, he completed three years at Milwaukee School of Engineering. Combining his engineering experience and practical application know-how, he always had a challenging project in the works. His latest project, an original design and fabrication of his, was a camper for attending eagerly anticipated Bluegrass Music Festivals.
Tom most valued and embraced integrity. He spoke to the truth he saw, and firmly adhered to doing the right thing. It was not always easy, or pleasant, or well-received; but right was right, truth was truth, and in the long-haul integrity wins.
The staff at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home are now continuing the excellent care and support of Tom and his family that he received at Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center.
In addition to Karla and Susan’s care, family members, Therese, Carol, Dan, Josh and Paula, and close loyal friends John and Barb deserve a special and heartfelt, “thank you.”
There will be no visitation or services at this time.
